Johan Steyn caught on CCTV driving over security guard Mzwanele Wellem was sentenced to 6 years (suspended).

Below is a cctv footage of how Mzwanele was driven over by Johan Steyn

Johan Steyn will be under house arrest in Durbanville, for the duration of his sentence and allowed to leave for work and one church service per week.

He is also required to complete 576 hours of community service and complete human rights and anti-violence skills programmes.

Similar Cases of Attempted Murder by black people have had more harsh sentence compared to Steyn's case. Scelo Mkhize was sentenced to 7 years imprisonment. Lawrence Ndziweni was sentenced to 10years imprisonment.

Yes one could argue that the merits of the case are different. However, could they be so different that Black People hardly get suspended cases in such cases? When will White People stop benefiting from the mere fact that they're white?
