In total, he has created 45 chances, only behind Grealish (55) and Fernandes (52). The FFH Predicted Points Tool has KDB at 1st between GW18-25.
KDB’s double-digit haul of 13 points from a goal and an assist vs Che in GW17 will have put him firmly back on FPL manager’s radars.

3 away goals against Che is ideal form ahead of what places MCI as 1st in the Fixture Ticker over 6 GWs. In my opinion, MCI have the best combination of upcoming fixtures and current form. KDB is one of the only nailed on picks in the team as well as the designated penalty taker.
The Predicted Points Tool has KDB for 7 points vs BRI (1st amongst all players in GW18). The Belgian international is still 1st in the long term for predicted points between GW18 and 25 too.
Transfer rating:
KDB has been in fine form this season. With the DGW fixtures at home on the horizon, KDB feels like a must-buy at this point in time. I admit that the Salah to KDB move is perfectly viable if you are not going to be using a Free Hit to navigate GW18...

...and want to bring KDB into the team as your Captain. Longer-term, I would have a plan to get Salah back for the DGW 19 fixtures at Anfield.
Considering that many are bringing him in for Salah, it is only fair that we move onto analysing Salah over the short & long term.

Salah and LIV have been out of form over the last 3GWs only scoring 1 goal in total against WBA, NEW & SOU. They’ve only gained 2/9 points in the Premier League.

Salah has blanked in all 3 of these games in comparison to only blanking 2/13 matches he started prior to that. LIV is 3rd for Shots in this period of games (45) but their Shots on Target is only 7 and places them in 17th. You can see Salah's drop off attached in the last 6 GWs

We can see that although LIV are still taking a high volume of shots that these are not of high quality. They've not been clinical and played both Mane & Salah in the FA cup game vs the AVL U18 team to try to get some momentum before the next Premier League match.
Salah has no fixture in GW18 and his last three blanks mean he is the most transferred out player this week with 395k managers selling him. So let’s compare his underlying numbers with De Bruyne who is his most popular replacement in the market.
De Bruyne edges Salah on the Predicted Points tool between Gameweeks 18 and 21. He is expected to be 1st with 35.3 points vs Salah in 5th with 25.5 points predicted points.
Transfer rating:
I am a big proponent of the Salah to KDB move for those who are not utilising a FH to navigate BGW18 + would like to Captain KDB. Personally, I will be upgrading Son to KDB in DGW19 and keeping Salah for the double too (I will be on FH for BGW18 so can get KDB)

If you do not have a lot of value tied up in Salah then I can understand selling him for GW18 to bring in KDB or Sterling as a captaincy option. However, if that is the case then I would still make a plan to bring him back for his two home fixtures in DGW19.
If you already own KDB and are still keen on selling Salah to chase upside elsewhere, then my favourite alternatives with both Blank and DGW fixtures are Bruno, Rashford or Sterling.
With news of TOT vs FUL now in GW18, you could also use Salah to bring in Son for the BGW too.
