Should you build a personal or project brand - a thread inspired by @jackbutcher and @visualizevalue
Personal Brands (+) tend to grow faster on social media and research shows we prefer handing our cash to humans.
Personal Brands (-) are not sellable. If we want to accrue equity in something we have to build it outside of ourselves.
Project brands (+) allow us to build a collection of products and document a project's lifespan.
Project Brands (-) are a lot of work for solopreneurs or small teams who don't want to manage multiple websites, social accounts, and brand identities.
Bottom line: it doesn't matter as much as we think. Our brand names, color schemes, and domains are all flexible.

Build an audience and products and you'll have the holy grail:

Perpetual Ownership & Equity.
