This is so freaking traumatic for so many #autistic people, but nooooo, her fans will say it's okay for the movie "isn't for" us, and it's "raising awareness" of the "real" "low-functioning" autistics who "aren't on Twitter."

I'm sorry for going off about this first thing in the morning, but OMG, this movie is just as bad as #autistic people thought it would be. Perhaps even worse.

P.S. This makes me sad. There are so many #autistic advocates who are nonspeaking, #AutisticWhileBlack, or both! We could've had something beautiful, if she had gotten out of her own way and listened to autistic people.
