IN WHICH PLACES MATA LAXMI REFUSES TO GO?

Since the devta's were facing penury due to the curse of Rishi Durvaasa when Indra put the Paarijat (given as a blessing to Indra) flower on the elephants head instead of he wearing it, Laxmi mata refused to enter the abode of devtas.

So the devta's went to Brahma ji for advice. Brahma gave them the Narayan kavach ( https://twitter.com/Anshulspiritual/status/1302956177966264320?s=19 ) and asked the devtas to pray and satisfy Laxmi at Kshir Sagar.

By their devoted plea and prayers Laxmi happily appeared before them.

The whole atmosphere changed on her appearance. She then spoke to the devtas that she will never enter the place where a Brahmin has been insulted, here she meant to say about insult of Durvaasa by Indra. As per her statement neither Vishnu ji would also help anyone who

would insult a Brahmin.

During the course of her talk with the devtas all the Rishi's and Maharishi also happened to come there. They to performed her puja and requested Laxmi to enter the devlok.

So she replied that since these Brahmins are requesting her to do so,

she would obey them,but beforehand she wished to inform them the places she would never go. She definitely would go to pious people and benevolent Kings and protect them like sons. She would never enter a house where the relatives, guru & pittra's are angry with the householder.

She would avoid people with false claims, shallow and are vain in nature. She also would not go to a liar, usurper, thoughtless & ungrateful person. She also avoids fearful, one in enemies clutches, sinner, greedy and miser. Next she never went to cruel or cunning persons house,

debtor, sorrowful and the house where the person is in woman's or son's clutches. The people who constantly fight and taunt is also best avoided. She would also avoid dirty and untidy person, one who sleep with wet legs or naked. The houses of people sleeping during the day

and evening, one who oils his hair and then touches his other body parts,one who plucks flowers and twigs and one who keeps his nails dirty are also to be avoided. She would also not visit the house of a person who avoids giving dakshina to Brahmin after puja.

The houses of people that Laxmi would not visit will be those who use mantra puja and earn, Vaidya and Cook. She does not visit the people who break the marriage in anger or destroys any pious activity.

Saying this she disappeared and went to devlok as promised to the Rishi's.
