I got my abstract accepted for the #KOTESOL International Conference Online. I will be presenting on making classes more #ADHD inclusive.
If you think it is irrelevant to language teaching, you have this in common with a recent job interviewer. It matters because there are estimates that around 7% of a given population has it (if memory serves). That is about 1 in 15 students, not limited to academic achievement.
Consider the lower working memory and one has to consider cognitive load effects. On the plus side, anything you do to be more inclusive of your ADHD students will benefit everyone.
