The major factors for this list are :
- Total no. of trophies
- European Cup/UCL's
- League Titles
- Level of League

Factors which I've not taken into account :
- Fanbase size

Reason : It is irrelevant because in a fanbase, quality > quantity. There's a large chunk of fans who are plastics, glory hunters, and don't even watch games, so quantity doesn't matter.

It's common knowledge that in terms of level & quality of football, the Spanish League is the best, and in terms of overall competition, the English League is the best.

Hence, it only makes sense to put the 2 giants in each of these leagues at the top of the list

: Real Madrid or Barcelona?

Although Madrid's historical League Title victories were influenced by dictators & they won 5 of their whopping 13 UCL's when it was an invite-only competition, they have 12 more league titles & 8 more UCL's than Barcelona.

: Liverpool or Manchester United ?

Although United have 1 more league title than Liverpool, the latter have double the number of UCL's United have. Since it is a worldwide list, european success is of great importance and gives the advantage to Liverpool

: Bayern or Juventus or Milan ?

Although the Italian League is significantly more competitive than the German League, there isn't much difference in the level of football. Bayern's massive total of 75 trophies & 6 UCL's gives them an advantage over the Old Lady

: Juventus or Milan ?

Many hold the Rossoneri in higher regard than Juventus due to their 7 UCL's compared to 2, but the enormous difference of 20 trophies gives a great advantage to Juventus, including double the number of league titles milan has.

: Ajax or Inter or Arsenal ?

Although the level of the dutch league brings them significantly down the list, because Eredivise does not even qualify as a top 5 league, Ajax boast a highly impressive total of 72 trophies, ( 4th most ) & 4 UCL's ( 6th most )

: Inter or Arsenal ?

Although Arsenal play in a more competitive league and have more trophies than inter, the fact that they have 0 UCL's makes it essentially impossible to put them above inter on this list, who have 3 more UCL's than them

These are the clubs which make it to the list of top 10 clubs in the world, in my opinion.

Honourable Mentions : Paris Saint-German, Chelsea, Athletic Bilbao, Atletico Madrid

P.S : I already know that united fans will take the fact that I put Liverpool above united due to UCL's and put Juventus above Milan due to League titles, out of context and call it hypocrisy but, you have to take the *difference* into account.

United have 1 more trophy than Liverpool, 1 more league title, whilst Liverpool are significantly more successful in Europe and have 1 more major trophy as well.

Milan on the other hand have 18 league titles compared to Juve's 36, so the lack of European success is made up for.

Also, the criteria i have used are total trophies, league titles, UCL's and ignored the difference between the rest of trophies because they are significantly less important compared to the League & CL.
