Since Zack has come up with a lovely idea but clearly executed it with the wrong animals:

Asking the Consultant for a DOPS
Bassett hound - Medical SHO. Used to look like the Medical F1 but now the wrinkles have set in. Turns out the F1 is a graduate entry medic and is actually older than them.
Black Lab - Medical Registrar
Medical registrar. Sleek, intelligent, keeps the same facial expression while the ED SHO stumbles through their referral before sighing and saying "right... whats the hospital number?"

Special mention to @drphiliplee1, seen here in his days as a medical reg in his green coat. 8/10 where's the hat gone?
Irish Setter - Medical Consultant on-call. Wanders through ED with confidence and poise. Occasionally distracted from the post take by a niche diagnosis/squirrel, spends hours chasing it down.
Old Golden Retriever
The consultant who has come out of retirement for COVID but only prescribes warfarin, barbiturates and leeches. Refuses to learn any New Tricks like "Clexane".

Husky - ITU reg. Good luck getting a referral past that piercing gaze. Fiercely defends their territory.
Otterhound - the 6 foot 8 surgical SHO. Wears a XXXL gown and size 19 gloves. Hair never stays under the scrub cap, infection control nightmare.
West Highland Terrier - Staff nurse. Seen here newly qualified (Feb 2020) and 11 months later (Jan 2021)
Fox Terrier - ED Nurse in charge. Direct, takes no messing bout. Fiercely loyal as long as you feed them with plans and/or sausages
Greyhound - The site manager. Runs between 38 different wards, juggling beds and phone calls. Blink and you'll miss them.
Border Collie - Porters. Cover ridiculous distances every day while herding the sheep/patients into their pens/wards
Puppies - Medical students. Turn up for 9am ward round looking determined. Asleep in "teaching" by 11am.
Bonus footage of a doctor finishing their shift on a hot ward and running for the showers before someone can ask them another question
Examining the 12th cranial nerve
Anaesthetics - German Shepherd. Very intelligent, also runs about a lot but in a very directed way. Incredibly aggressive when bleeped for a "tricky cannula, we haven't tried"

Paediatrics - Welsh Corgi
Very friendly and playful, seen dancing round the ward (L)
Occasionally prone to grumpiness when they realise they're on postnates again this week (R)
