One of my mentors told me to be more professional in writing my threads. So I'll try to be a pro, but I'm not used to watch the match as an analyst but as a fan.

So, Blaster started with their usual 4-2-3-1 formation. But something was different in it. While both Facundo nd Sahal took postions in both the wings, Hooper played behind Murray. Everyone was surprised by the inclusion of Lalruathara.

As I predicted in my line-up earlier, Blasters went for a mid-block. Mid-block is a word used when the team tries to stop the opposition from the mid-third itself. We could see the workrate given out by the KB players.

All the players other than the defenders were given Zonal duties, both in the mid nd attacking third. I said in a tweet earlier, we fielded 2 captains on the field. Costa and Jessel. Costa took the whole responsibility of the defence on his shoulders.

We couldn't see much bombardment by the wingbacks in this game. Which, in turn made our defense a bit more stronger. Except the mistakes from Lalu, the defense was stable MOST OF THE TIME. JFC managed to shake our defense at times.

As a defensive unit, the thing that I saw as a positive in silencing MONROE. He was their lone pivot as Alex went further up on the pitch. Jeakson stayed back most of the time as Vicente went up, I remember @krishg1990 bro saying he can offer much in the opp. half.

And he is doing exactly that, he maintains the connection between the mid nd the attack. While Jeakson maintains the connection between the mid nd defense. A good understanding between the 2 was an advantage to us.

Facundo nd Sahal were going on creating chances. But Sahal didn't know when to pass the ball, nd overdribbled it most of the time. Look how much dribbles he made, yet only 1 key pass

One thing that we have worked on seriously nd have improved is Pass Accuracy. In this match we had a 67% Pass Accuracy.
Facundo mannnn, he is the Messi of #ISL

, left-footed, not so fast but he has QUICK LEGS. His perfomance analysis is in progress so I'll not say much about him.

Murray nd Hooper, they have unique connection between them

. Hooper still has to improve his First-time shots. If that had been more efficient nd accurate we'd hv won this match with almost 3 goal margin. Still, one of his best perfomances so far in isl

Murray duudee, I guess he is having some 6th sense. How correctly is he reaching all the loose balls. Most of his goals are through loose balls. Even he has to improve his finishing, Sahal also

We saw an attacking nd Entertaining football match last night. So unpredictable. Why so...??
All the attackers were given a freehand. they could switch positions in between the match. Sahal nd Facundo switched positions often. So did Murray nd Hooper.

The versatility of our attackers made our attacks unpredictable. I guess Kibu used both Sahal nd Facundo as inverted wingers. We didn't depend on crosses to reach the ball into the box. This is where the inverted wingers came into use

When one of the winger dribbles inside instead of going outside nd giving crosses, they are called INVERTED WINGERS. When either Facundo or Sahal dribbled inside, just like a magnet, they attract defenders, or put them into decision making.......

This is when the player has to pass, Facundo succeeded in that. While Sahal overdribbled most of the time nd only succeeded once.

That is why I compared dribbles with key passes. Since they are inverted wingers, both are INTER-CONNECTED.
When both of them managed to have 4 dribbles(of which all 4 were successful), Facundo managed to have 3 key passes. While Sahal only managed to get 1.

Overall, a good game nd a necessary win for KB. Kibu silencing all those who doubted his system nd tactics. Of course this is a win dedicated to Kibu for not giving up hope on us nd to the Management for believing in Kibu.

I know this is a long thread. This is the first time I have actually looked into the tactics(not fully, can expect something from @krishg1990 that I've missed)....
Hope you all like it nd comment your views on this, Do contradict to things that you think I'm wrong.
