I've been thinking a lot recently about colors. Color blind people put on those specially designed glasses and they can see normally! Crazy right? It's like gaining a new sense. I realized there's so many colors we don't see anyway. At our best, we have only 3 color cones

Shrimp have like...what, 30? The sheer drastic increase of colors is incomprehensible. We can't even BEGIN to imagine. We don't know what it's like without those colors, but if we could see them, we'd wonder how we ever lived without them, they'd be so beautiful

There is just so much we don't see, we can't see. Some animals see way fewer colors than us, and they'd be blown away if they could see what we see. Imagine just one more color cone. That's like 300 new colors and combos. Insane. Stunning
