Had a discussion about #FarmersBill2020 with a couple of friends. Both opposed the bill (they are not farmers). They oppose because they say that Govt passed the bill without discussion with the Farmers and that the Government is ramming their views on Farmers.
Farmers are losing, they say. I said Farmers are being given the freedom to sell where they want to. The real loss is to te Arthiyas. My farmers only Punjab are opposing. They said that Farmers from UP also want to join but not being allowed.
Discussion inconclusive. My view is that the Govt. and BJP must take steps to provide facts and counter the propaganda machinery. Any thoughts will be welcome as long as they are polite and factual.
