Can I put in a request for a ban on all comparisons between the Twitter bans and China

I used to write about Chinese internet censorship as my full time job. This is not that! Please stop!

A puppy dies every time you say banning Trump’s social media accounts is like China
First of all, in some ways this is literally the opposite of what happens in China. In China, there is no way in hell any private company (or anyone at all) could choose to suspend the account of a powerful government official, much less President Xi Jinping.
Second, CENSORSHIP occurs as a GOVERNMENT DIRECTIVE. In China, the government forces social media companies to delete certain content and to amplify other content.
Twitter’s action is literally the opposite of that. Twitter, a private company, is choosing to do something that the US president does not want. Isn’t that what all this “freedom” jazz is about?
Clearly, Twitter is very powerful and what people are correctly noticing is that an unelected group of people, who are not accountable to voters, are making vastly important decisions because they feel like it.

By all means, let us as a society grapple with that.
But this situation could hardly be any more different from what happens in China!

Please stop! Stop the China comparisons before more puppies die!
