The permission structure has changed. Before, folks and companies had permission to do business with Trump and didn’t have permission to ban him. It has now flipped. Anyone now still working with Trump is suspect. And for Parler and other parts of the racist coalition.
Not everything will shift but the costs of sticking with Trump and his allies go up and the costs of opposing go down.
Which helps to explain the cascades of the past couple of days. Twitter was the big one since it took away a key means of retaliation as well as a signal of the changing permission structure
