I don't think there are many on the right (the real right, not the "oh let's make some money as TV-ready 'former Republicans') who have been as negative on Trump as I am, so please understand that I'm not hacking away when I say we're entering a dark age with this sort of thing. https://twitter.com/JuddLegum/status/1348352548441366529
"Woke capital" will eventually spark a violent outburst that makes the Capitol invasion look trivial. Please do not do this. You think you can say "hush, prole." But you're wrong.
Good question. And if I was God-Emperor I'd cast the Jim Jordans and Louie Gohmerts into the Forbidden Zone. But the problem is this: no matter how sure I am of my politics, others are equally sure. Stamping them out w/a boot won't work. Persuasion will. https://twitter.com/_Almaqah/status/1348479729918222339
No. And obviously you phrased in the most ridiculously narrow way as to render the question farcical as opposed to hugely important. Screw Josh Hawley, I don't care if he gets hit by a bus at this point. But...BUT... https://twitter.com/JuddLegum/status/1348482828636483586
The weaponization of the left of capital (even as their more extreme elements claim to be socialist/Bernie/Stalin-did-nothing-wrong etc.) is a real issue that we're going to be wrestling over in the near future. Hand-wave all you want, juddlegum! It's going be a massive fight.
There is absolutely a strong feeling (and a legitimate one, frankly) that the right and center feel that the left has seized the "commanding heights" (culture, academia, and now woke capital) to oppress The Other. People like @JuddLegum have never, not once, lived that feeling.
And the irony of course is that I'm the the anti-Trump guy who gets shat upon on the regular for being a simp lib sellout. But lemme tell you: if even *I* notice this, simping all the while as I apparently do, what do you think people to my right think? THAT'S A LOT OF PEOPLE.
I know what you think; you think "I'm going to press my boot heel down upon their faces and laugh as I crush their skulls." It's an impulse that political combatants inevitably feel. It also doesn't work. Find another way.
