The way I see people joking on here about the Armie Hammer texts ("I want to fuck him", "this is fake", etc.) when real women were emotionally, psychologically, and physically abused by him is abhorrent. Real women who were in the SW space and/or BDSM community.

This man violently crossed boundaries in his BDSM relationships with these women & manipulated them to participate in nonconsensual fantasies of his that existed outside of the realm of healthy kink, abandoning safe words & correct code of conduct. I'm horrified by the response.

Some of the women alleged being threatened by him, physically harmed, and remain scared of him. This is a man whose sexual misconduct and deviance needs to taken seriously.

The fact that this wealthy, white, cisgendered man abused his power to manipulate and abuse women in vulnerable communities FOR YEARS is vile. I've spoken to some of his victims/mistresses and this is not a joke to them. It shouldn't be one to you.

Always believe women. It's not your place to judge what was consensual, what wasn't, what is abuse or not, it's theirs. It's always their truth to tell.

Also we have to be careful what we normalize. Having a "sexual cannibalism" kink that blurs the lines of fantasy through real harm or murder is not ok. We're not talking about vore or a vampire kink. Just here to say that a lot of this man's actions are extremely alarming and were not consensual, and the way in which people are responding needs to change. Consenting to a BDSM relationship does not equate to consenting to being apart of someone's cannibalism fantasies...
