I left a corporate job and started a new business last February. I shut down in March. I did my best remotely and I had a strong second half of 2020. I didn’t save anything go to retire but family has all they need.

I did whatever I could do in the spring. I sacrificed. 🧵
I didn’t draw a CERB and CEWS is an odd beast and I could still pull limited revenue and i prided myself on persevering.

Well did the second wave. Business supports exist, in some fashion. But I’m back where I was last year. Meagre revenues but I can’t wind it down.
So @fordnation, I closed my business —twice now. I haven’t seen my mom for nine months. I struggle to educate my kids at home or work. They’ve lost all social contact. And my wife experiences all that but double.

So what else would you like us to fucking do, Doug?
You wanna talk to the rule breakers you talk to them specifically. You know who they are. Trust me.

Don’t you dare stand at another presser and suggest that Ontarians let you down. Because you’ve been letting people down your entire life and we’ve been a tad more gracious.
There is nothing more sanctimonious than the coward of the cottage lecturing us about holiday travel. Every one of his friends checked their Xmas plumbing in the tropics. I wish they had all stayed on the beach.

A cleansing tsunami. Spares the workers. Sweeps away politicians.
