đźš©Mysterious n Ancient KAMRUNAG LAKE with uncountable wealth stored in its bedđźš©

KAMRUNAG Lake situated at a height of 3,334 Mtrs, in Mandi distt of Himachal, is known for the lake and the temple besides the lake, is associated n dated back to Mahabharat times.
As per tradition, Kamrunag is the King Yaksha of Mahabharta and was worshiped by Pandavas.
It is said the lake was made in honour of the King of Yakshas by Pandava Bheem. Yakshas are believed to be the celestial guardians of wealth hidden at different places on earth.
The locals worship Kamrunag Devta as the deity presiding over rainfall, and hence, a temple has been built near the lake to offer ceremonial prayers to him. Due to its closeness to the Kamrunag Temple, the ancient lake has been named after it.
There is a tradition of offering gold, silver and coins in the lake by devotees on the fulfillment of their wishes by Dev Kamrunag. It is not possible to estimate the quantity of gold ,silver and coins of other metal that lie at the bottom of the lake

On the way to KamruNag there is a place where you will see a footprint present on a rock and is believed to be of Bheem n Griffith’s Cobra Lily, a special type of Cobra Lily, will be seen on the way.
It takes 3 to 4 hours to complete the on foot journey from Rohanda to Kamrunag on a steep mountain path of about 6 Km. in the midst of the beautiful Balh Valley and Dhauladhar Range, the Kamrunag Lake is an oasis for a spiritually-parched soul.
