With Arizona turning up the heat on vaccinations tomorrow w/ 24hr sites, here's how I would maximize vaccinations nationwide assuming there are 24hr sites in every county:
1) I'd set up a universal scheduling portal with all the info one might need to know where and when they can get vaccinated: where, when, insurance, ID, etc.
2) Using the DMV, send a letter to everyone informing of them where they can register - requiring age and occupation info to indicate which group they're a member of (1A/1B/etc.) and of course phone # and email address.
3) Everyday, the govt should send an alert to everyone in the 1st priority group via text & email asking to schedule a vaccination appointment. Give them 24 hours to do so.
3) Once that 24 hours has passed, send out another txt/email to the next priority group giving them access to schedule an appt in any available slot in the next week.
4) Do this continuously until every slot is filled everyday.
