how does anyone know anything about classical music? when did you learn? how do you remember any of it???

are there some people who decided to learn about this as teenagers when i was, unaccountably, reading multiple books about britpop

my main memory of high school "music" lessons were of the english teacher who was covering the lesson giving me a copy of the accidental death of an anarchist because he thought i, personally, would like it

i *did* play the euphonium (poorly) and was in multiple school bands but that wasn't like, a place to learn who composers were lol
