There’s this annoying tendency to frame social problems created by capitalists as solvable by different groups of individual workers refusing to take part in a system they live in, and if those workers don’t they’re obviously just evil.
The reality is workers go where capital does. Workers buy what capital offers for sale. Workers work jobs that are available to them. This isn’t solvable by shaming someone for buying a house, or taking a trip, or having commodities they like is not going to end exploitation.
What we really want is for everyone to enjoy life, enjoy things, enjoy each other and enjoy work without the pressure and controls and inequality and exploitation of capitalism, colonialism, imperialism, and the brutality of those systems.
