In the midst of all the preparation for #SAME we'd forgotten today is our 6 year Twitter anniversary making the #SAMEpremiere our anniversary celebration stream in hindsight

After half a year of preparations, we launched right before grand finals at BEAST V way back in 2015 after the following teaser was shown.

We aren't new to teasing a bit

Or announcing full European Circuits and bringing them to completion

We housed a brief podcast series

We ran a website feat. interviews, articles, previews, EUPR's, tournament lists, overview of streamers, national power rankings etc for over 5 years and have been in the process of a rebuild. Interest appeared low though and Covid further impacted development priorities in 2020.

In the background the same people involved with SmashEurope have helped to streamline communication between TOs to avoid overlap, help each other promote and improve their events over the years.

We also communicate statements from the European Smash Backroom, which functions as a central bridge for European Figureheads to stay in touch, housing a place for constructive conversation about the most sensitive yet critical topics. Figureheads are put forth by the countries.

We try to follow the European Smash scene as whole and include every Smash game that has a scene, adding new installments as they appear.

There's always room for improvement though.

We've seen the community discussions and will convene with the site's admin what's possible and where we can use support. Help is always welcomed in our efforts to bring more visibility to the European Smash scene.
