They dragged a police officer down stairs, and beat him, with flagpoles. There were hundreds of them. There's no indication ANYONE came to his defense. Know what else they're planning? To murder journalists. They've been discussing it for YEARS. Think they won't do it? They will.

Here are some from 2018. This was in response to a single tweet. I never wrote a single story about this movement until I covered this guys trial. He wasn’t charged for these posts. The bar is higher than you think for what constitutes a direct threat.
When I covered his trial, in September 2020, I had to have armed security. My DMs are open because I decided in early 2019 that I prefer to have threats via DM than publicly, because threats tend to be seen and result in more threats. Think about having to make that choice. 🤦🏼‍♀️
I have folders of similar posts like this, but they’re extremely focused on rape and murder and I can’t bear to have them all on the internet. But my point is, they talk about murdering journalists ALL DAY. They have a name for it. It’s called Day of the Rope.
Please be brave and report on all of this. But please be careful, and don’t think they will not attack you, whether you have reported on them or not.
