I think I just had a realization on the reason why NSFW creators get extra gross comments on their SFW sides / platforms. It's not because they make NSFW.

A lot more mainstream creators only have their SFW platform, or hide their NSFW, but they routinely act 'horny on main.'
Since these are the kinda people who are more prominent online, e.g. on Youtube, fans think that this kind of behavior is acceptable and imitate it. And when fans do something, they overdo it, and start acting wildly inappropriate elsewhere.
Like, I've made some more risque stuff on my YT, but the comments I get there are *way* worse than comments I get on my NSFW twitter, even on totally innocent stuff.

But comments often go "he draws hentai so it's okay for me to act like even MORE of a degenerate than normal!"
In reality, this behavior isn't due to the content itself. That's *mostly* irrelevant as far as I can tell.

There are just so many more bad examples of what's appropriate and how to act.
This is also a call to fellow creators, particularly on SFW platforms: please handle mature content sensibly and don't creep on people.

NSFW acceptance is also important, but it's also important that people who don't want it don't have it thrust upon them.
Also, the thing that made me start to realize all this, was just noticing how many people who had a "wholesome" kind of brand got outed as creeps, or worse.
