People love to complain about P2W. Here's my take on it..

I feel like "Pay to Win" on Roblox means something different to everyone. To some players P2W is just buying something to gain an advantage.. is gaining an advantage really "winning" though? Not really. (1/9)
Dev products and game passes almost never guarantee a "win" in the game because you still have to play! Regardless, I think it really depends what your definition of "winning" is for that game. For example.. (2/9)
if your idea of "winning" in a Simulator is simply getting all items, yeah MAYBE you can consider a x2 coins gamepass P2W.. (even though it's not a guaranteed "win" and those players likely still have to grind) but not everyone considers simply getting all of the items P2W! (3/9)
Since Roblox is online and most of the games are multi-player with tons of players, generally games are designed to have tons of competition, grinding, and things that are difficult to obtain even if you purchase everything! For example, things like leaderboards.. (4/9)
Yes, if you bought all of the gamepasses and dev products you might have gotten all of the items pretty easily.. but paying for that stuff didn't guarantee you a #1 spot on the leaderboard, it simply gave you a fighting chance to "compete" with the others (5/9)
that have the same advantage as you. It's like paying entry into that leaderboard competition. The way I see it, most of these games have 2 groups of players with 2 very different ideas of what "winning" is. If you don't have any robux to buy gamepasses and dev products.. (6/9)
then as long as you're in the group of people who consider "winning" as one of the various things that are obtainable without robux, then you can still "win," and I'm sure the game is designed to allow you to have just as much fun as the people buying gamepasses and (7/9)
dev products regardless of how much faster all of those people who spent robux completed those tasks.. as long as them completing those tasks before you doesn't ruin the fun for you.. which it shouldn't because it's not a race! Something like a "top coins" leaderboaed on (8/9)
the other hand is definitely a race.. but of course if you don't have the x2 gamepass and such, you obviously won't be able to compete with the people who do! Again, that doesn't necessarily mean you "lost," you just didn't "pay your entry" into that particular competition. (9/9)
I think this is the longest tweet thread I've ever posted so I figured I would throw one more tweet into the thread to make it an even 10! Lol

Sorry for the lengthy post but thanks for reading and I'd love to hear your thoughts! đź’š
