Theres not many job roles that you have to come up with ideas CONSTANTLY. And i mean, day in day out.
PR's and social media managers deserve much more credit than they get. Its their job to shit ideas, over and over everyday for years and years!
Thats mental pressure!

Ive been thinking about the ad industry and even they don't have to come up with ideas at such demand. Ad campaigns are usually 3-6 or sometimes 12 month long campaigns. Bigger messaging, longer lasting, all over one idea, not 20-40+. The PR and social industry is different.
At the minute the social and PR industries are requiring constant noise, constant ideas, constant activity. And they HAVE to work. If one of those 25 ideas don't work, you get scrutinised.
We have to start thinking longer term, and give our minds a break.

My tips for doing that:
- Get atleast 3 creatives - ideas people to work together on this. 1 person shitting out ideas is fucking hard for years and years.
- Plan campaigns that last longer. Come up with a concept that can be executed in multiple ways across a longer timeframe

-Set longer term goals over short ones. Dont be hard on yourself if one fucks up - if you have a yearly target you can just expect the next one to work better and help you towards that goal
- Think about smaller ways to get the same result.

-Big ad creatives spend millions on videos, stunts and fancy creatives. This takes months of effort and pressure. Its 2020, you can literally tweet and get 400+ media coverage which took 2 mins. See example below from @goulcher
-Dedicate time (and multiple people) to small reactive ideas and spread the load
Awesome ideas are rare. Awesome ideas people are rare. So if you find people that are good at it, for years long - hold them tight. And look after them - MENTALLY
