just want to be heard, are misunderstood, or are underrepresented by the media. Even worse, folks like Metaxas are portraying the rioters as though they were the Jews being persecuted by Nazis. There is no curiosity about how they might have caused these horrors.

Instead, it's all victimhood and grievance. The *real* problem is someone else's responsibility. It's classic pathological narcissism writ large in our politics, and it will end in self-immolation.
