1/ A convoy of 'protestors' with tricolours trailing from their cars yelled at me on Ormond Quay this afternoon to take off my mask and 'stick your vaccine up your arse'. I would like to introduce them to the 1916 veteran Dr. Kathleen Lynn who fought nearby on City Hall.

2/ She also vaccinated 100s of people during the Spanish 'flu pandemic and was a pioneer in providing the BCG vaccine in her children's hospital, St. Ultan's. This vaccine played a key role in eradicating TB in Ireland.

3/ I believe the Irish flag belongs to every Irish person, but if you are going to use it in your 'protests' you might want to think about Dr. Kathleen Lynn as, without people like her, we wouldn't have this flag in the first place.

4/ Finally, as to your 'stick your vaccine up your arse' comment, as soon as it is my turn to get the vaccine, they can inject it in any bit of me they want, arse included!
