1) Many republicans seem puzzled as to how things ended up this way, they say trump has gone off the deep end “after the election”, “he wasn’t like this before”… Well, let me tell you, why treason bread in your midst...

2) It happened because despite knowing he was a cheat, a liar, a con man, a rapist, a bigot, and a racist you stood one and all behind such a man, giving him credibility and acceptance and stature.

3) because those who joined after you, you who had earned respect once upon a time, thought that if you could support trump then of course those who opposed him must be lying about him.

4) It happened because every time he said or did something cruel and horrible, you defended his actions or brushed them aside as inconsequential, that's just how "he is"...

5) putting forth the argument that you liked his “policies” that he was doing good for the country, when you really meant he preserved your way of life, your comfort, and your pockets.

6) It happened because you sold out your country, your patriotism, your honor, your dignity, for power and followers. You swallowed your pride along with any insult trump threw your way and then open your mouths for more spoonfuls of indignities.

7) He insulted you, your wives, your families, your parents, the handicapped, the military, the country you claimed to love and you just kept on holding your breaths and swallowing spoonful after spoonful of shit.

8) It happened because you lacked integrity, because you saw millions of people gathering behind the monster you had helped to create, you wanted those followers so you could use them yourselves later.

9) Truth and democracy be damned, the constitution was nothing more to you than a paper to use when its words could be twisted to your advantage.

10) It happened because you lacked a spine, you lacked courage in the face of a tweet, because you forgot what you were elected to do, and focused on what your position meant on a personal level. Your constituents became your base and your bank account.

11) It happened because there is a part in everyone of you that is racist and bigoted and thought that power should remain in the hands of white people. That’s why you backed candidates you knew were unhinged such as those from QAnon.

12) That is why you came down on civil movements like BLM coining the new term Antifa to replace the old one (the N word) that would surely give your racists tendencies away. And that is why you regurgitate that word Antifa at every turn... Antifa! Antifa! Antifa!

13) It happened because men once thought of as “good men” stood by and did nothing or worse they supported the maniac in charge. It happened because you chose power of country.

14) It happened because you valued greed over lives. It happened because of every single elected republican who stood by and did nothing or egged their base on. You are the reason it happened.

15) Do not look for other culprits, do not search for excuses, just research the archives of the internet, for your names and see how you are responsible for the failed coup attempt of January 6th, 2021, for the deaths of 5 people, for the desecration of the Capitol.

16) There is only one reason it happened… YOU republicans. The shame is yours. The responsibility is yours! Cleaning up your mess? That's real patriots job. If you had any shred of it left you would to a man (or woman) resign.
