First of all, I'd want to know from her why did she go forward with publishing her writeup without soliciting info from @BharatBiotech? Why unnecessarily put out such news so soon, and play pressure tactics? Was she denied info?

Second, in point (b) of her follow-up tweet, she claimed BB WON'T disclose whether the patient was given vaccine or placebo.

BB in their statement said they can't give the info immediately because it's a double blinded study.

Double-blinded study is where neither the patient taking the medicine nor the doctor giving the medicine know whether the medicine is the test drug or the placebo. In such studies, it takes time to find out whether the patient has taken the placebo or the test drug.

Nowhere has @BharatBiotech said they WON'T disclose the info. They said they can't, at the moment (because it takes time). And that's reasonable enough.

In point (c), Anoo said that @BharatBiotech has "ABSOLVED themselves" by saying that death is unrelated to the vaccine or placebo, based on assessment (she doesn't mention if the assessment was complete or not).

Well, I don't see this corroborate with this

Here, the statement says it clearly that the conclusion was arrived based on PRELIMINARY assessment, and that testing of his viscera is going on to know the exact cause of his death.

Now what was the preliminary assessment? Probably coming from preclinical and phase 1 clinical trials, the researchers have found out a cutoff time period for any adverse effects to be seen due to the vaccine. And that came out to be 7 d from day of the shot.

He died after 9 d.

But still, forensic medicine experts, researchers at @ICMRDELHI and @BharatBiotech are trying to find out the exact cause.

Does this anywhere show that Bharat Biotech has ABSOLVED themselves?

Conclusion -

Words can be very misleading many times. Often the original message gets twisted and gives the public a wrong impression.

Remember, anti-vaxxers don't come up in a day. They are formed when a general mistrust gets conflated with such misleading news.

At that moment, things get generalized and blanketed, and lots of collateral damage occurs.
