Like there’s Seokjin, who’s an aerospace engineer part of the national space program and is interested in Namjoon’s plans for the program, and has spent a lot of time getting the scientific community to support Namjoon because he has good policies.

Then there’s Yoongi, who’s been rallying for more social programs and shit and met Namjoon before he even started the campaign back in college when they were debating about how the current economic system screws over poor people and perpetuates the cycle of poverty.

There’s Hoseok, who’s an environmental and animal activist who liked Namjoon because he plans to reduce the greenhouse gases and the waste the country generated each year and is working to give him advise on that area in order to further improve the plans.

There’s Jimin, who’s not involved with politics per se but is the CEO of one of the biggest companies in the country/continent and has been financing/donating for Namjoon’s campaign because a) He wants the connections that helping the president would create and b) he likes him

There’s Taehyung who had a lot of experience with public relationships and has been helping Namjoon appeal to more centrist/moderate voters AND also worked with the previous president but now switched alliances to support Namjoon (and made people question why but no one knows)

And then there’s Jungkook who accidentally found Namjoon during one of his speeches before he started his campaign and offered to become his campaign manager. Formerly he was a nationwide loved athlete turned politician and an adviser for the minister of sports

So you have people from relatively different backgrounds who are supporting Namjoon’s presidency (youngest president in the country’s history). The catch is that there is a LOT of people (mostly conservatives) who not only hate Namjoon and his policies, but also hate the people

that are supporting his campaigns which results on an attempted assassination during one of Namjoon’s rallies, which put all of them in alert and end up having to become closer in order to work for Namjoon’s security. Seokjin And Jimin already knew each other thanks to Jimin’s

company being involved in the private sector of Spacial technology, same way Hoseok and Yoongi knew of Jimin due to the company’s history in relationship of environmental issues (which should be improved and Hoseok says as much to him) and the inherently problem of a billionaire

being involved in politics (Yoongi and Jimin do have a lot more problems to get along but they they do end up holding hands in the end). Taehyung also had come in contact with Jimin during the previous president’s time in office, but didn’t know the others (besides Jungkook

again thanks to the precious president).

The point is, after the rally attempt and some suspected espionage they all agree that the best would be to close the circle around Namjoon at least until the elections to avoid any potential problem and this they work together so

Once Election Day comes, Namjoon wins and ofc all of them become sort of his cabinet and they all get what they want (even though there’s still some conflict of interest but now instead of fights they just solve the tension with... other activities)
