Just read this, please:The current climate of tech censorship is incredibly clarifying. All the woke bullsht is really about censorship, a 1984esque way of causing self censored speech.
When they can get you to censor yourself, they can control your thoughts. All this handwringing over re-education camps is silly, they have set up a re-education camp in your head. Divided in your own mind.
The immediacy and intensity of the current censorship push is beautiful in that it will continue to red pill (maybe some other color?) those with liberal values against the machine.
Do not continue to demonize the "otherside," regardless of your perspective. It is what they want, it feeds the machine. Literally their algorithms are set up to feed on hate, anger, and vitriol. Here is the point
Use their machine against them. Reach out, talk through things. Realize the promise of this apparatus as it was explained originally. Bridge divides. Do not personally attack those whose ideas you disagree with...
Honestly, don't attack the ideas either! Seek to understand and be understood! It requires more characters than are available in a single tweet, so EXPAND YOUR LANGUAGE. In 1984, Big Brother sought to simplify language down to only its barest essentials... Sound familiar?
The world is beautiful, and so are the people in it. Do not let the politicians and oligarchs destroy that.
I think it is good and proper to make fun of ideas, but it is better to make fun of yourself, you are preposterous, I am ridiculous (pouring this out to no one is probably a symptom of some madness).
Do not hold people accountable for a single (or several) infraction forever. Show grace. If you fck up, apologize sincerely and move on. People change.
Remember, your vitriol, no matter how righteous, is only good for division. It always seeks victory and the vanquishing of foes, never reconciliation. Let that be Trump's lesson. Victory is temporary, maybe 200 years temporary, but temporary nonetheless.
Unity can last as long as it is cared for.
