Tim Stuetzle says he was very excited to meet the guys and get on the ice. so excited to be here. Brady told him to lead the stretch.
TS-the guys are making it easy to fit in. They are all coming up to him to meet him. Thinks his confidence is good but he was nervous but the guys make him feel at home.
TS says Stepan is already a great mentor. They got to know each other during their quarantine time. He hopes to learn a lot from him.
TS-says the tape job he uses. He has taped only half blade since he was a kid, and now he's changed it a bit.
TS- was picked up at the hotel at 6:40 this morning and met everyone, met the coaches, got all his equipment and clothes. Its been a whirlwind morning.
TS- asked if he can sense the excitement level fans have about his arrival. Its great for everyone to be excited but he has to get ready to play at this level and for the ice at this level.
TS-earlier DJ Smith said Stuetzle was with Stepan this morning. Stuetzle was asked who his other winger was today in practice. "I don't know if I'm allowed to say that. But Yah. I don't know. It was the other guy."
TS-says he is going to live with Brady Tkachuk and Josh Norris at Brady's house.
TS-says his biggest strengths are his playmaking and his skating. He thinks his work ethic is also a big thing. I like to win.
