So. While we are glad @SenToomey is finally stating the obvious about Trump, we make the following observations:
1. Toomey says this is shocking new behavior from Trump. This is categorically incorrect and Toomey knows it.

2. @SenToomey does not think he shares blame for what is happening. Remember: Toomey voted with Trump 87% of the time. Toomey vociferously endorsed Trump just two months ago. Toomey refused to allow witnesses in the Senate impeachment trial.

3. @SenToomey just yesterday said he won't vote for impeachment because the House Dems will "politicize" it. So, again he puts party over country. (And, we'd add, his own personal wealth and power over country.)

4. @SenToomey says there isn't enough time for impeachment. Um. This is from a man who has rushed to vote to confirm any number of reactionary, unqualified, ideologue judges. They can get Trump out. It is a choice not to.

To sum up. This is @SenToomey toomeying again -- he makes a big splash saying what he thinks will make him look reasonable, and then he makes excuses for why he doesn't actually take action. He is all about retaining his power and wealth.
