Had an interesting journey through the "Why I'm Quitting Pathfinder" series of videos. Context: I bought and read the CRB a year ago but was on the fence about actually transitioning my group from 5E to PF2E. Then, as if he was reading my mind, @takingd20 released his video. A

I figured, "Here we go, finally an opinion on the game from someone who's content I was familiar with and who had good preview/review videos about Pathfinder at launch. Let's see what he has to say about the game after months of playing it." Turns out he really didn't like it.
What I got from the video was:
1) The level of choice during character creation didn't actually lead to meaningful choice in play.
2) The system, with it's deep mechanics, led to combat heavy sessions with little to no RP.
Great! Now I know PF2E isn't for me. Time to move on.

But then came the response videos, and boy were there alot. I thought, "Oh great, this is going to devolve into a system/edition war. This could get ugly". But despite my initial fears, the videos actually seemed well reasoned and fair (other than a few wangrods in the comments).
I skimmed a few of videos to get a sense of the counter points from the PF2E defenders. And then I stumbled upon @Nonat1s and @CollectiveDnD's videos. Thank god I did, because without them I was ready to give up on PF2E, probably for good.
Their videos discussed alternate POVs on the system and restored my faith in PF2E. And doing so without shitting on Cody for having his own opinions, which was a breath of fresh air in the TTRPG space often fraught with reductive/circular arguments.
I'm now in the process of re-reading the CRB with fresh eyes and I'm loving it! So much so that I just bought PDF versions of the GM Guide, APG and Bestiary off the @paizo website. I'm also binging a bunch of @Nonat1s and @CollectiveDnD's content to learn more about the system.
So in summary:
1) @takingd20 thanks for making a video that sparked discord on the pros/cons of Pathfinder, even if I now disagree with your conclusions.
2) @Nonat1s, @CollectiveDnD and other PF2E content creators. Thanks for making PF2E content despite the smaller audience!

3) If you were on the fence about PF2E before, but @takingd20's video put you off it, consider watching a few responses. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and thanks the response videos (and response to response videos) there's alot more out there to help you form your own.
Okay, thread over, just in time for an afternoon of playoff football. Anyways, regardless of what system you use, hope you're having fun! Just wanted to put this out there in case anyone was reconsidering PF2E for their table.
