Today militia groups will hold a rally in Olympia & at 1 PM will occupy the capitol grounds to prepare for forcibly taking over the legislative building on 1/11. Neo-Nazi Thomas William Hughes belongs to the militia "Evergreen State Patriots" & will lead the charge.
Known "Evergreen State Patriots" Damon Michael Huseman & Jeffery Brown attended the attempted break-in at the governor's mansion on 1/6/21. `
Brown attempted to get through the front door & belligerently screamed, "The next time we come, it won't be in peace!" Huseman threatened a woman with his "Hitler Youth" knife & shouted anti-Semitic slurs. Other "Patriots" alluded to war with the "commie" governor.
"Jake", the apparent organizer of the event, dismissed other "patriots" who felt threatened by the Neo-Nazis' presence by meekly saying, "Let's not fight each other". One white male "patriot" in a black beanie took offense to even acknowledging the existence of Neo-Nazis.
One black Proud Boy grew exasperated with the rally organizers for refusing to expel the Neo-Nazis for over an hour. Instead, "Jake" passively listened to the Nazis' concerns while a white Proud Boy gave them "optics" advice about conveying anti-Semitic conspiracies.
Meanwhile, during the rally Huseman shouted anti-Semitic slurs at a news reporter outside the governor's mansion and he attacked a reporter from "The Olympian" before the rally.
Proud Boy and convicted felon Tusitala “Tiny” Toese appeared to also take on an organizing role in the attempted break into the governor's mansion & did nothing about the Neo-Nazis. In fact, he urged "Patriots" to use more violent tactics.
Washington State Patrol on the capitol grounds treated the far-right crowd with cordiality & cracked jokes. Unlike with BLM protests, the police refrained from wearing riot gear or endangering the group with "non-lethal" munitions, even when they trespassed upon state property.
Although Gov. Inslee will deploy 700 National Guard to Olympia, there's no guarantee these events will end peacefully considering how easily Neo-Nazis have integrated into militia groups. https://twitter.com/alyss4nator/status/1347739146161254402?s=20
If anyone is near Olympia early this week, please look out for the following violent Proud Boys, Evergreen State Patriots, or WA 3% militia members. The police certainly will not care.
