Punisher is a fascinating character and has been a useful tool for propaganda. Currently used by monsters but could be wielded by anyone.

Nobody is going to use Punisher to heal any divide in this country because Marvel will never hire a writer equipped to do that.

There are certain stories about the wolf only the hare can tell. And Marvel doesn't hire hares for that.

What everyone is skipping over is that the same drive to storm the Capitol is the very same drive that pushed a mob of young men to kill Yousef Hawkins in Bensonhurst.

And Frank Castle? A Frank Castle that had yet to go to war? Would have WITHOUT QUESTION been one of those men.

And nobody wants to talk about that and those who benefit from white supremacy--even tangentially--cannot effectively write about that. They have no concept of being the hunted and do not know themselves as the hunter.

In fact they are ashamed to acknowledge they could be one.
