The refusal to lower flags to half-staff for Officer Sicklick on executive branch buildings is not oversight but a policy direct from Trump. He’s saying Sicklick was not a true police officer because he resisted the forces of MAGA.
Also note the lack of condolences from Trump. He’s warning officers that if they die in the line of duty resisting MAGA mobs, they will be denied the postmortem honors accorded “real” police.
This is a prelim to Round 2 of the putsch, which I expect Trump to launch at the border this week, supported by ICE and CBP agents.
