THREAD:- ⚠
A few years back I used to think that the chances of our country making progress will increase tenfold, and the crimes will decrease hundredfold because I was in an illusion or maybe naive enough, that upcoming generations will be smart and educated enough to behave.
This is complete bullshit. There is something seriously wrong with the mindset of the upcoming generations that we are bound to go back to the point where we started.
We don't know how to even address such issues. They fail to understand what is right and wrong.
With the passage of time, crime rate among women has increased. "Education" doesn't seem to work because Kerela despite having 100% literacy ranks in top 5. Kids are disrespecting soldiers in the name of "dankness" to chase clout on social media, unaware of sacrifices
Everyday there is some news of crimes taking place where the culprit is juvenile. A girl being beaten to death at a new year party, teens killing each other for the sake of infatuation, i can go on but you get the point. We wait for the next asifa, priyanka, nirbhaya for outrage
We are a country where crime is not a subject of debate during elections. I am not saying that i am perfect but India can be divided on many lines, that we need to start talking about ground reality and collectively take a stand despite political differences.
A politican that pays you for tweeting will not care about changing psychology but it is the family that loses their loved ones. Parents need to focus on their kids more than ever. Technology and the influence by movies and web series can be easily seen in this generation.
The issue is also with the generations as i said, but also with the collective mindset of our indian society.

A rose is a rose is a rose.
You can blame politicians for the situation of law and order but nobody addresses the problem with the mindset.
Stop adding insult to injury.
