(2)How? Distinguish enabling lies vs activating lies. Enabling lies are like a “gateway drug”, preparing people psychologically for the activating lies that move them to take extreme action. By the time someone believes an activating lie it’s too late for argument.
We *must* fight the enabling lies, and that takes humility and tolerance. “It means understanding that no emergency is ever too great to stop loving your enemies and blessing those who persecute you.”
