Many EU countries had big problems in first 2 weeks of vaccinations.

But data shows the problems have nothing to do with EU supply. It depends on how well-prepared national govs were for distribution.

Denmark has vaccinated more of its people in 2 weeks than UK has in 5 weeks.
Italy has also done well so far.

There are success and failure stories within EU that seem to correlate to whether the country anticipated that the 1st approved vaccine would need extreme refrigeration.

Distribution is entirely a national responsibility. https://www.politico.eu/coronavirus-in-europe/
Some national politicians want to distract from their own distribution failures by pointing the finger at Brussels.

Germany hasn’t even used half of the doses it’s been supplied by the EU, yet for some inexplicable reason its illegally ordering 30m more Pfizer doses for itself.
