Every anti-masker is offered a mask by the security guards on entry. They are abused all day long - that's their job now. Anti-maskers are again offered masks by Social Distancing Marshals that patrol the isles in high-vis jerkins - who are further abused. 2/6
The PA system is in constant use calling on people to respect the safety measures in place. The abuse is awful. My wife is often accused of being a nazi and is openly referred to as that mask bitch. All all day long - every day. 3/6
Some anti-maskers even come to the store several times a day just to make trouble. Banning them usually involves the police and isn't a practical option. The police have been very supportive but simply don't have the resources. "Johnson's Covid Marshalls" never arrived. 4/6
Between trying to provide a safe environment she has set up a home delivery operation from scratch and has a store to run on depleted staff levels. This is due to a pandemic that people seem to think doesn't effect retail workers. 5/6
I rarely see my wife now. She is constantly working, trying to feed people. Why aren't the government doing more to help the supermarkets feed the nation? The supermarkets gave the government the VAT back - so why can't this be used to help them now? @BorisJohnson @Keir_Starmer
I am surprised some people think that having an anti-masker shouting in your face, is in the same league as asking someone to stop smoking, or not to wear pyjamas. Anti-maskers are much more likely to have the #covid virus than the rest of us. Think of them as carrying a knife.
