Today we are kicking off our declared women candidate thread! We’ll be starting alphabetically by electoral district and encourage you to learn about, reach out, and support women candidates in your area! #nlpoli

In the district of Cartwright-L’Anse aux Clair @LisaVDempster is representing the @nlliberals. She has been serving the district since 2013 & is currently Minister Responsible for the Status of Women, Minister of Indigenous Affairs & Reconciliation, & Minister of Labrador Affairs

In the district of Conception Bay South, @ShelleyMoores79 is representing the @nlliberals. Shelley is a MUN Alumna, award winning professional fundraiser, and long time community advocate and volunteer.

In the district of Fogo Island-Cape Freels, Sue Collins is representing the @PCPartyNL. Sue is a long time resident of Hare Bay and dedicated community organizer with extensive experience in recreation and tourism.

In the district of Harbour Grace-Port de Grave, @PamNParsons is representing the @nlliberals. Pam has been representing the district since 2015 and currently serves as Deputy House Speaker.

In the district of Harbour Main, @HelenConwayNL is representing the @PCPartyNL. Helen has been MHA of the district since 2019 and currently serves as Justice and Status of Women critic.

In the district of Lake Melville, @AmyNormanNL is representing the @NLNDP. Amy is a proud Inuk woman born and raised in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador with extensive experience in the healthcare sector and is a passionate advocate for Indigenous Rights and the Environment.

We have three women candidates in the district of Mount Scio! The first is @newbury_andrea representing the @alliance_nl. Andrea is an ardent supporter of democratic reform, affordable childcare, a living wage, and collaborative government.

Also in the district of Mount Scio is @SarahlStoodley representing the @nlliberals. Sarah has been serving the district since 2019 and is the current Minister of Digital Government and Service NL, as well as responsible for OCIO and Francophone Affairs.

Representing the @NLNDP in the district of Mount Scio is @Sheilagholeary. Sheilagh is an experienced advocate and leader on the municipal and provincial front for over a decade and has served as past Co-Chair of Equal Voice NL!
