I think most people are most uncomfortable with TK’s bond because it doesn’t fit so many of their narratives. TK are so much more than the usually heteronormative shipping couples. They are both equally powerful, their dynamics is actually beautiful because it’s not age bound,

and most of their moments are NOT fan service, infact when something is called “overrated” or “popular” it’s because there is an abundance of content from the ship but here it’s the opposite and there is a COMPLETE lack of tk content yet their popularity and energy and chemistry

remains unbearably strong- imagine international locals thinking TK are dating after Grammys or their own company keeping them separated to contain their power. I see why there is so insecurity in other shippers and why Tk get so much hate, disguised or obvious

It’s because it feels too real if real or not. And this makes people uncomfortable because they can’t outright debunk so many of their questionable moments together or just their unwavering strong bond inspite of being so low-key.

Taekook are beautiful and insanely strong, together and individually. Everyone craves for what they have or craves to have them. Taehyung is Jungkook’s baby. Jungkook is Taehyung’s happiness. And if this doesn’t fit your take on them or makes you sad so be it.
