This article regurgitates Chinese state propaganda and relies on both the 'war on terror' narrative and Islamophobia to justify China's repression of Uyghur Muslims.
To see a national officer of @STWuk tweeting such nonsense is very concerning. https://twitter.com/Fio_edwards/status/1347560875562033152

The Muslim community has worked very closely with Stop the War Coalition in the past. The Iraq War was also justified through the dehumanisation of Muslims and generalising Muslims as radical extremists. @STWuk stood with the Muslim community then, will they stand with us now?
Levels of Islamophobia are not measured by the size of the Muslim population or the number of mosques there are. Luton has 30+ mosques. That didn't stop my sister from being subjected to Islamophobic abuse on her way back from work.
