Another day of watching the far-right extremists. Though his disavowal of the seditionists who occupied the Capitol for a time and his "concession" has resulted in some confusion, hurt, and rejection, he still maintains his cult, including those in Canada. 1/10

They also hope that he uses his remaining authority to impose what would be a dictatorship which, given their claim to be freedom-loving "patriots" is a contradiction, especially when many of the same believe wearing masks to prevent the spread of COVID is as bad as Hitler. 2/10

To that end, and instead of rejecting the QAnon conspiracy theory being proven a lie over and over again, they seem to be embracing the conspiracy even more fervently. 3/10

This is evident in the reaction to Trump being kicked off Twitter and the pressure being put on Parler to maintain some control over the platform which has harbored users planning further violence this month in support of Trump. 4/10

While a positive step, in the sort term this fact has been incorporated into the QAnon conspiracy. 5/10

The Canadian QAnon adherents I've been seeing are claiming that the deplatforming of Trump and other far-right extremists is the beginning of "10 days of darkness" 6/10

During these 10 days, Trump will shut down all social media, the Internet, radio, and television. He will have the military arrest the pedophile child cannibals and try them before military tribunals. This will be followed by televised confessions and mass executions. 7/10

The end result will be the evil that QAnon adherents believe control the world will be definitively defeated and Trump, God's instrument, will usher in an age of peace and prosperity born out of blood. 8/10

Lin Wood on Parler has suggested that the deplatforming is the start and that the major tech companies are trying to thwart this effort. This is echoed by other Q cultists. 9/10

This would all be ridiculous if it didn't pose a real danger as evidenced by the QAnon involvement in the storming of the Capitol on January 6. And since the Canadian adherents also believe that our government is part of the evil cabal, it is a danger here as well. 10/10
