Fascist don't rely on you agreeing with them. They only rely on their ideology of certain people being seen as less than human being normalized and you never standing up and saying that's not ok.

There seem to be a lot of well meaning leftists who think not giving a platform to Nazis will "set a precedent" for leftist being censored too, even though leftist are already being censored more than fascists in some aspects.

Socialist thought is far more a threat to these corporations than fascism ever will be. So the idea that I have to worry about a fascist leading a coup not getting a platform will hurt me is silly. I should be worried about the fascist hurting me, a queer black socialist.

I want fascists to not have a platform not because I don't believe in free speech, but because there is a difference between free speech and hate speech.

I want fascists to not have a platform because as someone who cares about marginalized communities, I don't want marginalized communities to get hurt.

We are not "fighting the power" by fighting for those fighting for authoritarian power.
