The U.S. is so pathetic. There was a an attack on our federal capitol. It was incited by the president, and now, evidence is suggesting that both the president and Republican legislators helped to orchestrate that attack with the Proud Boys.

And our “leaders” are doing nothing.

It is unbelievable that Republicans are playing politics over this. It’s unbelievable that Congress took the weekend to mull over “appropriate” consequences. It is unbelievable that the president is still in the White House, and the only consequence so far was a social media ban.

It’s unbelievable that any legislator implicated in the attack hasn’t been immediately removed from office, let alone jailed.

I just can’t believe we’re watching the degradation of the U.S. government, and all it took was some clown’s ego. The system is absolutely useless.
