I’ll keep saying it until I’m out of breath: we do not have to like each other but it’s a big ass country; we can do our best to avoid the people and places we know we will disagree w/if we cannot do it amicably. But we have got to learn to live together before this gets uglier.

And yes, this is a lecture more for the left. People on the right are far more accustomed to having to keep our mouths shut so we already do this much better than you do — sorry but that’s the damn truth.

Entertainment and now even sports is usually now a moral lecture, but only for people with the icky politics. Work? Forget it. You cannot espouse any type of conservative thought or you’re branded and sent to HR as being non-compliant.

So yes, this is my moralizing to the left: just leave us alone and we’ll return the favor. Seriously. Pls, We’re begging you. We don’t need to have beers/ do a social hour but we should be able to be in the same room w/o fear of being other’d/narc’d out for “wrongthought/speak”
