There’s a deep #cloud stickiness story here. You can’t lift and shift *out* of AWS. It will take months, nothing works outside the walled garden, security groups, S3, load balancers etc. Gone.

Azure and GCE won’t want it either.

Not in the least bit sad to see this toxic cesspit be extinguished.

However.

What if in the future, say a mega tech decides that *you* have crossed a line they deem is worthy of ending access?

Maybe you’re a competitor who won’t sell?

It couldn’t possibly happen right?
We tend not to have a good track record in tech with large corporations coming out on the right side of history.

Sure let’s stamp out all these toxic vehicles of hate today and 100% get rid of them.

But, let’s take time to think about what’s also happening here longer term.
