as an engineer, I like doing "ground truth tests". I signed up to @parlor_app and politely disagreed and provided counter opinions to about 20 random people who were reacting positively to @seanhannity's posts. We shall see how well the media is representing that community (1/n)
First impression: the app is more than clunky, I don't see why anyone would use such a piece of crap ;)
I do like that it has a downvote button, it's counterintuitive but people seem to be nicer when there is a downvote button, they just downvote you rather than calling names.
Oh wow, I just got an upvote for pointing out that @seanhannity was being intellectually dishonest and the "we are better than this" from one of his followers. No one has called me names yet.
I think I need to find a whackier person, Hannitys followers have been far nicer than people here on Twitter to be honest. Any suggestion on who the whackiest right wingiest nut job is?
ok I found a guy who is the author of a book about "Faith. Family. America. Ducks. Jesus" but all his followers seem to do is quote the bible so I am in foreign territory, still looking
ok someone suggested [Q][anon] and [s][to][p] the [ste]al which I have obfuscated in this thread because apparently, Twitter is doing some algorithmic censorship, I did not get a notification for the tweet even though it was an answer and I had to click two buttons to read it.
My god, it's like an app full of Ned Flanders. You would expect more fire answering those lamenting censorship with "technically isn't it kind of a core belief in conservatism that free enterprise should be able to deny service to anyone?" More upvotes than downvotes, wtf.
You can follow @odinthenerd.
